4G (Fourth Generation Technology)
Fourth generation of mobile Telecommunications Technology succeeding 3G and Preceding 5G. 4G based on LTE is being adopted arround the world as the primary cell phone communications. LTE is mosrt wireless system and can be easily accomodated in base stations and battery powered handsets. The next phase of LTE standard as put deployed that called LTE-A.
- LTE is a packet based IP data network. If you are using an LTE smartphone, you are still using the exiting 2G or 3G nerwork for what is called circuit switched voice service. VoLTE [Voice over LTE] is a voice over Internet Protocol, over LTE and it will operate simply data application on the IP network. When VoLTE is available, subscribre could initiate a call using the LTE system but drive out of the LTE network area.
- LTE used in the AMR [ Adaptive Multi Rate ] vocoder, which also is used in GSM and 3GPP standards. LTE is a braodband wireless technology that uses wide channels to achieve high speed data rate and accommodate a lot of users. LTE use OFMD modulation technique.
- The current 3G devices are good but they will have to improve in imaging and proccessing power to support future 4G application as to 3D , Holographics, Gaming, 16 Mega Pixel Camera , HD camcorders to move 4G nerwork will allow services provides to offer the impressive application who will be drive users to upgrade for new phones or devices. While 3G is defined by ITU as IMT-2000 , IMT Advanced is being clouded by ITU as 4G. IMT is now used as the generic name for 3G and 4G. This means that 4G traditional voice calls are replaced by IP Telephony.
- The earlier generation the 4G systems does not support traditional circiut switched telphony services but all IP based communication as like IP Telephony. In all 4G systems networks or users the radio spread spectrum technology used in 3G systems is abandoned and replaced by OFDMA multi carriare services and their FDE schemes possible to transfer very high speed bit rates.
